Business Account Opening Document Requirements

  • We’ve provided a list of financial document requirements based on business type. In order to establish a business membership at High Point FCU, you’ll need to supply specific documents. 

What documentation do I need to establish a business membership at High Point FCU?

SOLE PROPRIETOR / DBA:

  • Original Business (or DBA) Certificate with County Clerk stamp
  • EIN Letter stating the TAX ID # of the Sole Proprietorship (Sole Proprietor may use their social security number as the business Tax ID #) from the IRS
  • Valid Identification and social security numbers for all authorized signers

PARTNERSHIPS:

  • Certificate of Registration with State Filing Receipt or Certificate of Assumed Name of Partnership
  • Partnership Agreement
  • EIN Letter stating the TAX ID # for the Partnership
  • Valid Identification and social security numbers for all authorized signers

LLC – LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY:

  • Articles of Organization with State Filing Receipt
  • Operating Agreement
  • EIN Letter stating the TAX ID # of the LLC
  • Valid Identification and social security numbers for all authorized signers

CORPORATIONS:

  • Certificate of Incorporation with State Filing Receipt
  • Corporate Bylaws
  • EIN Letter stating the TAX ID # of the Corporation
  • Valid Identification and social security numbers for all authorized signers

ASSOCIATIONS / CLUBS / OTHER BUSINESS ENTITIES:

  • Letter or Meeting Minutes from Organization
  • EIN Letter stating the TAX ID # of the Organization
  • Valid Identification and social security numbers for all authorized signers
